Shuri was SO small and SO fast, and Bukit Brown was so dark, that for the first part of the hike, Shuri was just a blur in my photos 😭 My gear wasn’t fast enough for her!


There are running shots, but my favorite photos of her in this series are the ones where it was clear she was small but so spicy: being shorter than all of the bushes and tunneling through; bush-diving and sinking so low we could barely see her; being shorter than a stalk of plant?!
